Karen Brady
Art, Grades 1-6In September 2010 I began teaching art to students in grades 1-6 at Grandville Christian.
I attended Michigan State University and graduated from Kendall College of Art and Design with a BFA in Graphic Design in 1987, which enabled me to work as a graphic designer at a printing company for over 20 years. A few years ago I returned to Kendall to obtain my certification in Art Education. Being active in my church, teaching Sunday school, helping with community projects, and participating on the Board of Education have all prepared me for my job at GCS. I volunteer in the community, creating art work and logos for local festivals, the library, local businesses and farmers markets.
I live in Howard City, with my husband and our twin 14-year-olds, and my 110 lb. Akita dog! Both of my parents were educators and I am so glad God has called me to do this work. I feel blessed to be at Grandville Christian among such caring and wonderful people.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
