After graduating from Calvin College in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Jared Benthem began teaching third grade at Grandville Christian School.  He also taught first grade at GCS and spent a year teaching in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  Currently he is working on his Masters in Educational Leadership and is the Assistant Principal.  Jared is married to Susan who teaches second grade for Grand Rapids Public Schools.
